To be more independent we did the tour by ourselves, so we could stay as long as we wanted in each spot.
We rent a campervan with RENT.IS company to travel also the RING ROAD ICELAND.

Þingvellir
Thingvellir is a National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004.
The park lies in a rift valley that marks the boundary between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
Thingvellir is also a place where Althing – the National Parliament of Iceland was founded in AD 930.
Silfra Fissure is a place where you can dive between the tectonic plates.
To the south lies Þingvallavatn, the largest natural lake in Iceland.

Geysir
The most famous geyser in Iceland belongs to the Haukadalur valley area, where various other geothermal feature such as fumaroles, mud pools and other geysers are located around it, such as the famous Strokkur geyser.

Gullfoss Waterfall
The wide Hvítá river flows down into a wide curved three-step „staircase”
The average amount of water running down the waterfall is 140 cubic metres (4,900 cu ft) per second in the summer and 80 cubic metres (2,800 cu ft) per second in the winter.

Kerid Crater
Kerið is a volcanic crater lake located in the Grímsnes area in south Iceland. It is one of several crater lakes in the area, known as Iceland’s Western Volcanic Zone.
The lake inside is fairly shallow 7–14 metres,
Land owners charge an entrance fee to see the crater of 400 ISK (2019).

Tickets are 3000 ISK and it’s open 10.00-22.00 everyday
