Bucegi Mountains hike is one of many activities around Rasnov town.
This short Bucegi Mountains hike with overnight stay in Cabana Diham ( Hut Diham ) was a nice foretaste of Romania wonderful mountains for me and my friends. /ODPRAWIENI.PL/
At the beggining of May Fogarash Mountais are covered with snow, so we did a short hike in Bucegi to feel the nature in our one week trip in Transilvania.
On the trail there was still some snow left, but we didn’t need crampons.
On the way we spotted a few crocusses. It reminds me of a wonderful crocus valley in Poland.
In Bucegi Mountains hike is very popular. People usually start hiking from Busteni town. Bucegi Mountains have many Mountain Huts (Cabanas) scattered around, so most hikers don’t take tents.
We slept in hut Diham.
Whey also serve food and beer 🙂
One week for Transilvania is just enough, but for cities and good hiking in the mountains it’s too short.
This time we chose Castles and cities, and this short trek made us fall in for this mountains…
