Koh Chang Elephant Island offers hills, rainforest, elephants, fishing villages, beaches, and so much more.
Elephant Island is third biggest in Thailand it’s a perfect pick for a few days chillin on the way , or back from Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
Koh Chang is close to mainland , no airport though, so you have to use a ferry to get there.
I was traveling with some friends I met on the way. We stayed in nice, cheap, clean bungalows located near the beach.
Watching sunset, chilling at a beach, drinking no-tax tequila imported from Malaysia costing penny’s, before clubbing. After that partying all night with locals, was so much fun.
In the mornings eating fruit salads, or seafood. After that riding scooter around the island, inhaling smells, absorbing it’s nature and beauty. Did I mention swimming in clean, warm, pleasuring sea and admiring marvelous, colorful sunsets again, and again…?
Fishing village is a place where you can buy fresh fish or seafood for dinner, or just eat there.
